Carrot Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 26.04.2025
At Carrot, your child’s privacy and safety are our highest priorities. We are committed to protecting the personal information of all our users, especially young children. Below we explain what information we collect (or don’t collect) and how we handle it.
Imported Files and Local Storage
- When you import a PDF file or an image into Carrot, the app accesses only the file you select — not your entire iOS Photo Library or Files app.
- Imported images and PDF files are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or sent anywhere.
- Carrot does not have access to any other files on your device.
Saving Colored Pages
- If you or your child choose to save a colored image to the iOS Photo Library, Carrot will request add-only access.
- This means Carrot can save new images but cannot read or browse your existing Photo Library.
Advertising and Analytics
- We promote Carrot using Facebook Ads, but to comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):
- We do not track individual users.
- We do not collect any personal information for advertising purposes.
- We rely only on App Store Analytics, which provides aggregated, anonymized data and does not track individual users.
Commitment to Privacy
Protecting children’s privacy is central to everything we do. We design Carrot with best practices in mind and continually work to ensure a safe, private, and enjoyable experience for all users.
