PIXEL86 Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 12.04.2025
We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our photo editing app collects, uses, and protects your data. We believe in minimal data collection, strong local processing, and giving you full control over your personal content.
1. Your Photos and Videos
We respect the privacy of your media. Here’s how we handle your photos and videos:
- We do not send your photos or videos anywhere. All editing happens entirely on your device.
- When you import a photo or video, we only get access to that specific file. We do not have access to your entire iOS Photo Library.
- Once you finish editing, your photo or video is automatically removed from the app unless you choose to save it.
- If you choose to save your edited media back to your device, the app asks for add-only access to your iOS Photo Library. We never request or use read access to browse your photos.
2. Internal Analytics (No Third Parties)
We use internal-only analytics to improve the app and understand which tools and features are most helpful. No third-party analytics providers are used for this purpose.
Data We Collect
- App launch and session duration
- Start of an editing session, tagged only with media type (photo or video) — no photo content or metadata is collected
- End of an editing session, along with which filters/tools were used — again, with no link to the photo or video edited
Data We Do Not Collect
- Any device IDs, user IDs, or advertising identifiers
- Any personal information such as your name, email, gender, or age
To enable anonymous insights, the app assigns a random, non-identifiable ID to each user. This ID cannot be used to track or identify you.
3. Facebook Advertising (App Tracking Transparency Compliant)
We use Facebook SDK to understand the performance of our ad campaigns and app installs. This helps us improve how we promote the app, not how you use it.
We fully comply with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” Facebook does not get access to your advertising identifier (IDFA).
Data Sent to Facebook
- App launch (used to measure installs)
- Paywall shown (used to understand interest in premium features)
- Purchase-related events: start, cancel, complete
Data Not Sent to Facebook
- No personal information (name, email, photo metadata, etc.)
- No app usage data (e.g., which filters you used, how many edits you made)
4. Children’s Privacy
Our app is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
5. Your Rights and Controls
Since we don’t collect any personal data, there’s nothing to access or delete. If this ever changes, we’ll notify you clearly and update this policy.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. When we do, we will notify you in the app or on our website.
